Moms can experience many mood changes throughout pregnancy and up to a year after delivery. Emotions shift from happy to depressed, content to anxious. Some mood swings may be severe and overwhelming.
The Mood Changes and Moms support group gives expectant and new moms a chance to talk with others who share similar experiences. Specially trained nurses help moms address:
- Sleep issues
- Emotional wellness
- Mother’s guilt
- Extreme stress
- Lack of personal time/ isolation
- Childcare concerns
- Body image
- Obsessive compulsive behavior
- Unmet expectations
- Unwanted or scary thoughts
Join us and get the support you need. There is no charge to attend and no need to RSVP. Babies and toddlers are welcome, too.
