Children need consistency and assurance. Because their parents and other family members are their main source of comfort, parents and other family members are always welcome. There may be a few instances when you'll be asked to leave your child's room, but that will only be occasionally. Although our team is very experienced in working with children and making them comfortable and happy, there is no substitute for family.
Pediatrics and Pediatric Intensive care have open visitation 24 hours a day. However, we discourage nonparental visitations between the hours of 8:30 p.m. and 8 a.m. to allow children to get the rest they need. Siblings may visit, provided they are supervised at all times. Persons who are currently sick or have recently been exposed to communicable diseases, such as chickenpox, should not visit.
If you have questions about visiting hours, please call (260) 435-7337.
