Lutheran Children's Hospital is home to northeastern Indiana's only Cystic Fibrosis program accredited by the National Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. The program is an affiliate of the James Whitcomb Riley Hospital's Cystic Fibrosis Program. Lutheran Children's Hospital and Lutheran Hospital specialize in both pediatric and adult CF care.
The CF clinic is under the direction of a board-certified pediatric pulmonogist who, along with the clinic's multidisciplinary team provides diagnosis, consultation and treatment for those afflicted with CF. The team includes the physician, clinic coordinator, registered nurses, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, nutritionist and social workers. Counseling services with a clinical psychologist are available to patients and their families.

- Cystic Fibrosis diagnostics, including DNA analysis
- Preventive care
- Illness care
- CF education
- Support groups
- Home visits for CF education
- Patient/family counseling
- Hospitalization care
- Outpatient care
Two pediatric CF clinics and one adult clinic take are offered each week. A CF clinic for those who also have diabetes is offered twice a year.

Special Note:
Cystic Fibrosis Related Diabetes Clinic occurs twice per year. This is for anyone with cystic fibrosis and diabetes. The management of diabetes is dramatically different for anyone with cystic fibrosis.
