Forget-Me-Not Program

ElephantEveryone's knows how unique and special each child is. And that's especially true of the staff at Lutheran Children's Hospital. That's why they created the "Forget-Me-Not" Program for grieving parents and families. This group of nurses, social workers and child life specialists designed the program to memorialize the children they were honored to care for during their stay at Lutheran Children's Hospital, whether the visit was a few days, weeks or months.

Grieving parents experience a devastating loss and face a difficult journey. Although no one can take away the pain and sorrow, the Lutheran Children's Hospital staff hopes to provide support and resources to help you through the grieving process.

LCH will stay in touch with your over the next year through mailings and telephone calls, if you desire us to do so. We will send you mailings throughout the year and call you on specific days, like your child's birthday, to let you know we're still thinking of you and your child. This program is completely voluntary, and you may opt out of it at any time.

Lutheran Hospital holds a memorial service each year, and we will be sure to notify you of the date, time and location of the event.

If you have questions about the Forget-Me-Not program, call the Lutheran Children' Hospital at (260) 435-7337.
